About FCF
The mission of Full Count Fundamentals Baseball Instruction is to mentor student athletes through the game of baseball to help them develop skills and confidence both on and off the field.

Thank you very much for your interest in Full Count Fundamentals.  Please take a moment to learn more about Jacob Pepper and what Full Count Fundamentals is all about.

In July of 1999, Pepper moved from Tucson, Arizona to Goleta, California to earn his degree at UCSB.  Before his move, he was a 4A conference first team member in high school,  played with an elite amatuer club team during the summer months and played within the Arizona Diamondbacks Scout League.  While playing collegiate baseball at Pima College, Pepper was forced out of the lineup as the result of multiple injuries.  He then turned his career goals toward youth coaching, baseball development programs and personal athletic training.

Over the last 10 years he has worked with the Santa Barbara Parks & Recreation Department, The Elings Park Foundation, The Foundation for Girsh Park and now owns and operates Full Count Fundamentals, LLC.   Pepper has privately coached and mentored players of all ages and abilities.  He has worked with athletes from Santa Barbara City College, most local high schools and several youth baseball leagues throughout town.  Pepper has also spent time teaching in the Santa Barbara and Goleta School Districts .

Full Count Fundamentals is aimed at providing an opportunity to student athletes who want to take their game to the highest level.  No matter what age, baseball skills can be developed and perfected with the right preparation, understanding and dedication to being the best.  In a game of reaction, decision-making and mental toughness, the development of proper fundamentals help the game become natural.  For baseball players, game time excellence demands physical and mental preparation with the ability to have confidence in every situation.  It is this combined training of the body and mind that will ultimately shape the complete athlete.
